“Home.” National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 20 Jan. 2018, www.nationalmssociety.org/. The national multiple sclerosis society website is a way for people to connect with the MS world and learn how to get involved. The way this will be used in my project is by learning how I can get involved and do something useful with the information that is on the site. This has always been a good source to refer to because it’s the main primary website where people go to if they want to learn about MS. They can get in contact with many people who represent MS Society.
2. MSAA: The Multiple Sclerosis Association Of America, www.mymsaa.org/. The Multiple Sclerosis Association Of America website is similar to the first source that I found. It explains how MS is being dealt with all over the country by the million that have it. Getting people involved with the fight is the most important thing, believing that if enough people help out we can advance more and more and getting the help that people will need in the future.
3. “6 People Explain What It's Really Like to Live With MS.” Health.com, www.health.com/multiple-sclerosis/multiple-sclerosis-real-people-stories-2016. When first discovering new websites to use I didn’t think about using a blog but then when I read the stuff that I was actually on here I was intrigued but when I got out of my comfort zone then I was like why not a blog? When looking for different sources I thought that having a blog with different people talking about their experiences would be a good source because then I could learn and figure out other people's lives and what it’s like for them living with MS.
4. “Donate Now.” Multiple Sclerosis Foundation - Home, https://msfocus.org/ This is more than just a website where you can donate money to the National MS Society. They have a whole bunch of links for people to become educated on this issue. The site is for all users and people with MS can find things to do with other people who also have the disease. They give them a way to connect and people social.
5. PfizerNews. “Multiple Sclerosis.” YouTube, YouTube, 5 teNov. 2013, www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7O78LvrNSQ. This source provides information that a computer or website wouldn’t be able to give. This is coming from a real Doctor who explains the science behind MS. Dr. Hall is a MD, she is the chief medical officer of Pfizer. The source also provides a women who has MS and how she is dealing with it. This gives me more information to use for my project and a wider view of the issue and how it can affect people and their lives. 6. My MOM My Mom is the inspiration behind my capstone. Her story is real and the things she goes though is real. She doesn’t have a problem telling people her story and that’s extremely brave of her. I first introduced her story in 9th grade and have chosen to continue it this far into my senior year. When you hear her describing the things she has had to do doesn’t seem to faze her at all. She is the bravest women I know. 7. “PatientsLikeMe.” PatientsLikeMe | Chronic Idiopathic Axonal Polyneuropathy Symptoms, Treatments & Patient Forums, www.patientslikeme.com/. This is another source that people who have MS share their stories with other people and they can give them some feedback on how to deal with their problems. I think this is a good source because it opens up the world to MS and other people. Helping out with this cause is really important to a lot of people around the world and when people share their stories it encourages others to do the same. Even people who don’t have MS but are personally affected by it in some way. 8. “ActiveMSers: Staying Active with Multiple Sclerosis.” ActiveMSers: Staying Active With Multiple Sclerosis, www.activemsers.org/tipstricks/bestmswebsites.html. This site is to help people who have MS stay active, it gives useful websites and links that people are able to click on and scroll though to find out what’s happening in the world of MS. The site also provides a foundation for information, just like other sites that inform people of MS. Although I may not be taking information from this website and using this for my project, I think it would be important for me to have this on my website so others can look at it and read up on it. 9. Knight, Mike. “5 Fitness Websites for MS.” Multiple Sclerosis News Today, 20 Mar. 2018, https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/2018/03/20/fitness-websites-for-ms/ This site is to help people who have MS stay healthy and active. Being active with a disease like this is important because it will help with muscles spamus and other physically problems. Although I may not be taking information from this website and using this for my project, I think it would be important for me to have this on my website so others can look at it and read up on it. 10. “Best Multiple Sclerosis Blogs of 2018.” Healthline, Healthline Media, www.healthline.com/health/multiple-sclerosis/best-blogs-of-the-year
